I just need to close my eyes, just for a second...

I know, I know I haven't posted in a while and I didn't do a Sucking it in Saturday post either.  No Excuses right?  Well I will still give you my reasons as I am sure you may be wondering what the heck is going on (unless you could really give a shit less then I will still tell you- so there!)
One this weekend was a somewhat busy weekend for us, although 2 out of the 4 children were not  home this weekend, We had a birthday party to go to, the Hubs and I went to the casino (it felt great to have a night just the two of us).  And then of course we had to pick up the kids as well.
Well we did not get the house, its a bummer I know and I think right now we are at a crossroads at what to do because there are tons of houses out there that are for sale but the only problem is they are far from our price range or have the quilities we are looking for... so I am not exactly sure what we are doing at this point.
I have not been exercising nor have I been eating right, I know bad me!  Obviously my goal will not be reached by my 30th.  I'm also not sure were I will go from here.  I do want to loose more weight that is for sure but at the point in time when I look in the mirror (with clothes)I like what I see, I'm not thrilled with it but I am happy.  Now standing in front of a mirror naked is a total other story I hated it, I fear it, I could probably cry if I did it long enough.  But I think at this point with my confort level I think SIIS will be put on hold I am happy and excited and proud of myself for loosing the first 20lbs!  I am working on other aspects of my looks right now as well.  My teeth are a mess, (not as bad as you may think) but I am whitening them so that my two front teeth can have crowns placed.  I need to make a doctors appointment to find out why in the world I still have no energy and why I am so tired all the time but I have been to tired to make the appointment.  I have been taking over the counter iron pills and B12 and still they have had no affect on me.  I hope we figure something out soon because I can barely function like this and I would like to have the energy to begin exercising again.
Schools out for Summer! This is a good thing and a not so good thing.  Good thing I don't have to get up early as hell every morning to get Devin off to school, and hurry home every day to pick her up from the bus stop, not so good news.... the kids still get up early as hell!  I know have 4 kids to deal with during the day which would be fine if my almost 8 year old didn't have such a horrible attitude lately ( I pray she is not starting puberty early!), and now if I go any where I have to take all of them with me.  But we will get through this as we do every summer, but this will be my first summer with 4 in tow.
Well that is all for now, I hope to update a little more this week but no promises.

And So the Process Begins...

So we finally found a house, and we finally found a house that we want and can bid on.  And so the process of getting everything prepared for said bid has begun!  OMG its obviously been a while since I last went through this process and I have forgotten everything that it intails not to mention this time around I am for the most part doing this all alone because the Hubby has to work.  So I must get everything done while dragging children along for the ride.  Yeah this is going to be so much fun!  At this moment I am impatiently waiting for the email from my realestate agent to find out all that I have to do and all the I need to get this going in the right direction.  Once said email is recieved I will begin getting my arse ready to make the 40 minute drive to go get all the paper work in order, Oh and I must get this all done in time to get home and pick #1 up from the bus stop at 4pm! So now you see why I am being so impatient I need to get going here I want to make sure that I get this all done in time (so I dont have to do it again tomorrow).  The really fun part about today?  Running errands with two babies when the weather is 90 degrees out!! Thank God for air conditioning in the vehicle!!!

So it begins... Wish us luck!!

Is it Nap time yet?

(This is my perfect house, I love this style!)

I knew house hunting would be stressful, but I didn't realize that it would be this stressful!!  Back when we bought our first home it was a bit easier, we had only one child to lug around and our criteria for what we wanted was a lot different, we didn't worry so much about schools and the neighborhood because we were just looking for a home that would last us 5 years.  But now fast forward 7 years we have 4 children and totally different requirements for a house, we have schools that we have to pay attention to, neighborhoods we have to watch out for.  And now (so far) it seems every house we look at needs WAY to much work & money to get it livable.  Oh and not to mention to find something with our requirements at the right price is hard as hell to find!!  Its so much harder this time around, most times it consumes most of my thoughts during the day.  I know were I want to live but there is nothing in that city that meets our needs and price.  Why can't it be easier?  Why do homes have to be so expensive?  Who is the ass that invented mortgages?  Did he really have to make interest rates so high?
I just wish there was some easier way to do this all....  That's all for now...

Randomness

This may be a TMI post, but don't worry I don't get into to much detail.

The other day I posted that I had taken #3 into the ER for an ear infection on Sunday night, it was a late night for us because of this, I was so happy with the though of going to bed early on Monday night.  But things didn't turn out the way I wanted them to... as bed time drew closer I started feeling the need to pee more often then the pain began.  I'd pee, it hurt and then instant relief then the next thing I knew I was in pain again and felt the urge to pee again, I knew what was going on I was getting a urinary tract infection, and it didn't feel good (one bit).  I started drinking more water hoping to fill my bladder and ease the pain.  Nope not gonna happen!  Finally I couldn't take the pain anymore and took myself into the ER, they ran their test and sure enough I had a UTI and a pretty bad one at that (how in the world it got that bad that quick I have no clue), but thankfully they gave me antibiotics and pain meds to help.  Oh Thank You for the pain meds!! Because I don't think I could have slept that night without them.  But unfortunately I still didn't get home till after 1am!  There was no way I was going to be able to nap Tuesday either since I had to take Carly to the doctors for her 9 month check up and then Kara to have her ears checked because her ear drum ruptured and was bleeding, then we had to go get groceries.  So yeah it was a bit of a busy one for me.  Until this UTI is gone I am kinda off my diet, I'm still watching what I eat for the most part and exercising but did you know that cranberry juice has 120 calories per 8oz?  Yeah totally and I have to drink a lot of it according to the doctors.  The nurse said I need to drink A LOT of water, cranberry juice and frozen lemonade.  She informed me that I needed to drink so much that I should be floating!  That's a lot to drink! Especially when you are not really even thirsty, I'm thankful for Trop 50 because they have lemonade, and lemonade makes me even more thirsty so that helps a little.  I'm so glad that the meds started working fast though!
On another note have you ever heard of Pinterest?  Well if you haven't once your done reading this you should go and check it out and become addicted, as I and many (MANY) others have.  Well my very first time I checked it out I seen something very interesting, ice cream bread, yeah I know sounds weird doesn't it, well click here  for the recipe and then go pick out your favorite ice cream and try it!  Because its the easiest recipe EVER!!  I decided yesterday to try it. I picked out two ice creams Edy's French Silk (which by the way is very good ice cream!!) and Thin Mint.

This is the Thin Mint Ice Cream Bread

Well the French Silk ice cream bread went over well with my family and they finished it off pretty quickly.  The Thin Mint is pretty good but taste better with a little bit of butter on it.  Defiantly something very easy to try and good.

On to another subject - Yeah I am being totally random today ain't I?  We get to look at a house today! A house that we have been trying to look at for a week now! We've finally found a realtor that is willing to help us and not ignore us, seriously I'm not even joking this is the like 6th realtor we've spoken to and she is really nice and knows what we've been going through with other Realtors and is being very helpful! Hopefully I won't stress about it anymore, I know that looking for a new house is stressful but seriously Realtors shouldn't make it more stressful on you.  Everyone that we've spoken to before now, says they would show us the house and then we never heard from them again! Seriously no joke I still haven't heard back from any of them!  I'm just glad that we finally get to see this house, I know that this may not (and probably isn't) "the House" but a girl can hope right?  Its just so hard finding the right house at the right price you know?   I just hope this process doesn't take us forever!

Well I guess that is enough randomness and rambling for the day...
