The Things you learn on TV!

So the other day I posted about how I don't believe the television is the devil and you know what I was right, I was listening to the television the other day (while cleaning or something along those lines) and a commercial for tuna fish came on and it mentioned something about some ingrediants and making a wrap, it sounded so yummy that I went and bought those ingredients and made some wraps today.

The ingredients are as seen as in the picture. This recipe will make about 5 wraps.

You'll need 3 cans of tuna fish ( I used starkist low sodium chunk light in water), you'll also need some torilla wraps (sandwich wraps) walnuts, raisins, a apple and some lemon juice. First chop up about 28 walnut's

Place tuna in a bowl and get rid of the big chunks
Add about a 1/4 cup of raisins

Add your walnuts

Chop up apple into small chunks and add to the mix

Mix it all up and splash about 2 teaspoons of realemon juice into the mix (more or less depending on your taste)

place a nice portion onto wrap

wrap up (I made 5 wraps)

Can food be any Yummier?

I have no clue what has come over me lately but I have been in the mood to cook some good food, not just my normal boring meals that I normally make I have been wanting to make something new. So I went looking for some good looking recipes. I found one for Couscous Salad courtesy of MckMama & so many other recipes courtesy of Pioneer Women. Now before ya'll look at me like I'm crazy because I am suppose to be on a diet and exercising, I am still exercising and still trying to eat better but there are a lot more people in my house that I need to feed so not everything we have is super healthy (but it is very Yummy!). Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the fettuccine alfredo I made from (almost) scratch the other day.

Then yesterday for lunch I made some Couscous Salad. It will last me a few lunches (probably a week or more LOL). (Recipe is Courtesy of MckMama)

Last night for dinner I made bacon covered meatloaf, it was very good too but I think it needs to be tweaked a bit (as far as how long to cook it for)

This morning I made Egg-in-the-hole and they were very good! I also made a blackberry smoothie that was yummy too!

I defiantly think we will have this a lot for breakfast because its so delish!

I have more recipes that I will be trying and hoping they are as good as the last few that I have made. I know that the family has made their personal request as well :)

ABC Blocks and Lobster...

I was sitting on the couch this morning feeling really sick to my stomach and I looked over at Kara at noticed her playing with alphabet blocks, now you may think well whats the big deal. The only reason to me this was amazing is because she rarely plays with them unless one of her sisters open them for her and then all she does is throw them around, So I continued to watch her play with her blocks.

She was having a blast as you can see here.

She had her issues with them, and they kept falling but she had fun, at least long enough to were I could video tape her stacking her blocks

ain't she so cute! I love when they start doing more things other then throwing toys around.

On another note, For me a good note but for someone else a sad note....

I'd like you to meet Larry the Lobster (my dad named him that)

He doesn't exactly know what is about to happen.

Either way as you can see he isn't to Happy.

But Larry is about to meet a pot of boiling hot water...

I wish I would have gotten a picture of Larry after he was done taking his boiling hot bath. As you can see Larry is a tint of blue that is why I picked him because he was blue. There was another nice looking lobster in the tank his shell was so red that it looked velvet. But he was a big bully trying to beat all the other lobsters up in the tank and I didn't want to bring the meanie home. But anyways after Larry was done with his bath he was completely red. Okay you may be reading all this and thinking, this chick is nuts! Well we have never bought a live lobster and cooked it so this is a first for me...... lol

Pictures of my Chicken Noodle Casserole

So you remember this post I decided to share with everyone my Chicken Noodle Casserole Reciepe. Well I didn't have any pictures of the after product so I thought I would share with everyone! We had Chicken Noodle Casserole tonight and I took some pic's to share.

Its hard to see but this is after you crumble the crackers over the top of the mixture.

And after you bake it for 20 minutes in the oven this is the finished product.

Sit back and watch your family devour it!

Well at least mine does... It very rare that we don't have left overs, but when I make this there is nothing left!

Chicken Noodle Casserole

So a lot of people ask me for my Chicken Noodle Casserole recipe and I am happy to oblige!
First you will need some ingredients (note these are not my pictures I got them off the Internet).

You will need some Chicken seasoning we usually use frankenmuth chicken seasoning but we tried the Wyler's today and it worked really well. You will also need some egg noodles, we use No Yolks.

You need an entire sleeve of Ritz crackers (this is actually optional you don't have to use crackers but they give it a bit of something extra). You also need either boneless skinless Chicken breast or tenderloins (both work well but personally chicken breast is much easier to cut up)

and lastly you need either a family size can of cream of chicken soup or 2 small cans.

So those are your ingredients..... The first thing you need to do is cut your Chicken into bit size pieces, set aside for a minute and get 2 pots one to boil your egg noodles in and one to boil your chicken in. You don't have to bring the pot to a boil for the chicken, just put the chicken in the pot put some seasoning in the water and stir a little, once the chicken turns white once it turns white drain the water and place back in the pot until your egg noodles are ready. Put some more seasoning on the chicken and stir around to coat at least most of the chicken (unless you can get every piece covered).

Once the egg noodles are done, drain and place back in pot, pour your chicken into the pot with the noodles, along with your cream of chicken soup pour a little bit of water in the can and pour over everything (you don't need a lot of water just a little to keep it from getting dry). After you stir everything together, place it all in a casserole dish. If you are going to use the Ritz crackers crumple the whole sleeve over the top of the mixture. Then bake in the oven uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

I wish I had a picture of the finished product but my family has a tendency of finishing it all off, we never have left overs! (they love chicken noodle casserole!)
