If you don't have Trust... Whats left?

Wow I must be on a roll.. Or maybe its just I finally decided to write about the topics that have been running through my head. Yeah I definatly think thats it. If you ask people what the most important thing in a relationship is most people are going to say Trust and then Communication, and how true is that?

"The best proof of love is trust."

Trust is for sure the most important thing in a relationship (at least in my opinion it is). If you truely love someone then you shouldn't keep anything from them. I'm sure your sitting there thinking yeah give me a break I am sure you've lied plenty of times and I'll be completely honest with you. As far as telling my hubby the truth or not... I am alway honest to him, I am so much in love with him that I actually can't lie to him I just don't have it in me! There have been so many times that something would happen, for instance me going to the store and spending a bunch of money (that I shouldn't have spent) I always say yeah I'm not going to tell the hubby I don't want him to get mad at me but I always end up telling him the truth. I of course don't want to fight with the hubby and I don't want him mad at me but I would rather us have honesty in our relationship then worry about him being mad at me about something. I don't know why but I just can't seem to keep anything from him and never have been able to.

"Trust is the glue of life. It's the most essential ingredient in effective communication. It's the foundational principle that holds all relationships." ~ Stephen R. Covey

Is it cheezy that I am using quotes about trust? If it is to bad this is my blog and I want to be cheezy. Sometimes I see people in a relationship think that keeping secrets about money is no big deal really what is the big deal if you hide money from your significant other. Really whats the big deal its just money right? But then again your lieing. If your significaint other finds out that you've been lieing about money, how can they trust you again? If you can lie about money you can lie about anything right? Again this is the way I view everything, you may feel differently.

"The fundamental glue that holds any relationship together is trust." - Brian Tracy

I'll leave with saying (again in my own opinion).....
If you don't have trust, you have nothing......

With this Ring......

I've hummed and hawed about writing this post for many days now, and I can no longer keep it in my head I have to write it out. You hear it everyday, at least if you keep up with celebrity's and you hear it happening all the time in the "normal" world. So many people take marriage for granted, and so many think that there is nothing wrong with being married and having someone on the side. Why is this?
When you get married you say your vows, that in a way are kinda like a contract wouldn't you think?

"I, John take thee Mary to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till in death we part, and with this ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and pledge my faithfulness."

Now when you were married these may not have been the exact words that you uttered but they were in some way close in resemblance were they not? You vow to love and to cherish till death do you part, you vow your honor and faithfulness. Yet so many people take these vows for granted and go about there business how they please. This is my blog and my opinion right? So here it is... You vowed your love for this person and if for some reason you no longer feel that you can keep your vow, then the only solution I see is divorce, whether you believe in divorce or not do you really see it appropriate to continue your marriage and be with someone else? As the old adage goes " you can not have your cake and eat it too". You must choose one or the other, can you continue to love the one you are with, the one you vowed your life to on the day that you wed? Or has for one reason or another your love faded for this person and you can no longer keep your vows. Whatever the reason may be doesn't the person you married deserve the truth? The way I see it is Lies hurt worse then the Truth. Doesn't that person deserve to know the truth so that they can get on with thier life? This goes for whether or not you are married though too, it doesn't matter if you are just dating or not if you can't find any reason to be faithful to that person then there is no reason why you should continue to be with that person.

Just remember you will get caught, and you know what if you have done it and haven't got caught then good for you, you deserve an award and I have it right here for you its called the

Golden Douche Award... Congratulations!

If your recieving this award that means are truely a Douchebag thinking that your so cool because you managed to cheat on someone and get away with it. But guess what your not cool! Sometimes people just keep thier eyes closed to things like that because they don't want to be hurt so they don't look for those tell tale signs that you are indeed up to something. But just think about it you may have gotten away with it so far but that doesn't mean you won't get busted its just a matter or time.
All I'm trying to say is seriously if you really feel the need to be with another person, then why don't you just brake it off with the person you are currently with? Its better you break it off before they find out what you've been up to behind their back, if you ever really cared about them then spare them the pain and humilation.
And thats all I have to say about that.
Have a Great Night!

MIA?

No I'm not ignoring you! Did you miss me? I know its been 10 days since my last post and I am getting really bad at posting lately, ain't I? Devin and my Birthdays were last Monday and Tuesday then Saturday we had Devin's Birthday party so yeah I have actually been pretty busy lately trying to get ready for Devin's party and taking my mom to the doctor and obviously taking care of the kiddos. I was on my feet for almost 3 days straight with all the running around and party planning I was doing I'm just glad that maybe I can relax now! I'm so tired anymore! The girls are going to Bible School this week for a few hours a day. We don't normally go to church but one of the neighbors goes and her church is having cool thing going on this week for the kids and I thought it would be cool for the girl (Devin and Brooke) to try it out. They seemed pretty excited about it, especially when the neighbors daughter bought them thier own kids bibles (which was really sweet of her!).

Today is mine the Hubby's Anniversary we've been married for 7 years! Its been a wonderful 7 years with its ups and downs but mainly ups! No plans, that I have know of, but you never know maybe we'll go to dinner.
So don't worry I haven't been ignoring you all I just have been busy for the past week. Hopefully I will be able to post a little more now....

Do you have an ear to lend?

How can you look at that cute little face and not fall in love? This kitty is one of the 4 kitty's that my Mother-in-laws cat had a little over 2 weeks ago. He is the only one that hasn't found a home yet (well we may have a home but its not definite yet). Yesterday in my depression I was looking at the pictures of the Kitty's and fell in love and if I could I would take him, but we already have 3 female cats and 3 male dogs, and my mommy says no more cats! But again I say how can you not fall in love with that face! Alas I know we won't be bringing the cute little kitty home (ever).

I guess its part of my depression though, from what I have been told (after I went through some PPD with Kara) I'm a manic depressive which supposedly explains my urge to go out and blow money when I don't need to or have it, to make myself feel better and maybe getting a new pet could be considered getting something new to make myself feel better, You think?
I had a talk with the husband yesterday and although I do feel a bit better, I still don't feel right.
I've been contemplating calling my OB to see if I can get back on my Anti-depressants, but I am hesitant because I don't want to be taking that kind of medication while pregnant. But then again its also not good to feel this way while pregnant either. I would go to my shrink but I know what she is going to tell me I need to get some me time, some time to myself something that doesn't involve the kids. But with 3 kids its hard to do anything that doesn't involve the kids or anything that gets me away from the kids for a while, especially if I am still in the house. I could walk but I just don't feel like it. I guess I just need to suck it up and find something to do on my own and tell everyone that I need some time to myself for a while. Its the healthy thing to do right? Then why do I feel so guilty about it?

Aw man I actually found home for the last kitty. Well I don't aw man because its good but I was kinda hoping to con everyone at my house to get it. But its a good thing we don't need another cat.

As I have been thinking about it more and more, I believe a lot of my reason behind being so upset about not have a boy is because Zachary is not here and I never got to raise him, I love my girls with all my heart and I will (and do) love my new little girl with all my heart as well, but I never got to experience raising Zachary I want that experience and I think that's why I am getting so upset. I should be happy that I can have healthy children and I am because look at all the women and families that don't even get the chance at raising a child to begin with. I'm being greedy ain't I? I know I shouldn't be, I just wonder if it is apart of my depression? My mom is a very talented person and unfortunately I didn't inherit any of her talent (yeah I'm jealous) but the one thing that I most certainly did inherit from her is my ability to constantly think! Its not always about good things either, its about the bad things in life, about the what ifs in life. Sometimes I can keep it under control but when I am having issues with depression I have an even harder time controlling my thoughts especially the bad thoughts. You know the ones that play out scenarios in your head of things that have never and probably never will happen. I'm really bad at that, and my husband knows and completely understands that this is how I am, I am so grateful for that. But then in the same thought I sit there and think, if he is so understanding why doesn't he try to help? He knows How I feel about compliments I've explained it many times, but it doesn't seem to click in his mind. I don't expect him to bring me flowers for no reason (even though it might make me feel good) because I end up killing them any ways. But did you know (and I made sure I told him) that edible arrangements sell boxes of chocolate covered fruit and a box of a dozen chocolate covered strawberries for those people who don't want to waste money on flowers? I made the suggestion some what recently (before easter) that if he ever felt like getting me these instead of flowers (which unfortunitly he never does anyways) that this is a great idea

Now tell me that doesn't look good. a sweet treat and great alternative to flowers?

I don't want my complaining look like I have problems with my husband because I don't. I love him so much, he is my Best Freind and we have a great Marriage (in my opinion), our marriage isn't perfect but please show me one that is and has no problems what so ever! I appreciate and am grateful for all that he does. But that doesn't mean that there are things that other husbands do for thier wives that doesn't make me a tiny bit jealous sometimes. You know what I mean?

Well now that I have gotten some things off my chest I am feeling a little more better, not to mention I do have things to do today. So thanks for listening! Oh and thank you for all the support that I have been getting from my readers!

Have a Great Day!

My very first Blog post...

So this is my very first blog post I guess I can start with a little bit o' history about me, my life and my family. Uh were do I start.... I was born in July 5, 1981... okay maybe that is a little to far back into my history.
Well David and I met in High School when he was a freshman and I was a sophomore. We basically had our own separate lives throughout high school although we did hang out sometimes. We never dated (although a lot of people thought we did or should have). We dated other people and on June 19, 2000 I gave birth to my first Child Zachary Tyler, Sadly he was born still and never took his first breath. After that Zachary's father and I no longer got along and less then a year after Zachary's death we broke up. Me and David began talking again (after 2 years of not speaking) and We hit it off right away and began dating July 12, 2001. Things were wonderful! We started discussing marriage and children right away and became pregnant with our first child in 2002, Devin Pauline was born 3 weeks early on July 6, 2003 and David and I were married just 6 days later on July 12, 2003. About 9 months after Devin was born I was fired from my job and became a stay and home mom and a full time student (I had already been going to school full time before that) Finances weren't great but we managed what we could. Devin had chronic ear infections as a baby. In June of 2005 David switch jobs and started working for a wonderful company and its been great ever since. In July of 2005 the day before Devin's 2nd birthday we found out we were pregnant with our 2nd child, that same month I graduated from College with my Associates in Applied Science and Devin had Ear tubes placed for her infections. On March 16, 2006 Brooke AnnMarie was born into our family via all natural delivery (no med's at all, that was a very painful delivery but well worth it), Unfortunately she was born with club foot so we were going to the orthopedic surgeons weekly for the first 2 months of her life. at 2 1/2 months she had her first surgery to release her heal cord and it was a success, she continued to wear a special shoes with a bar between them for 6 months and after that graduated to a one leg brace she wore that for another 6 months and then graduated to a plastic brace which she now wears just at night (but still visits the orthopedic surgeon every 6 months for check ups). When Devin was 4 she had to have another surgery to replace her ear tube that had fallen out and at the same time they decided to take out her adnoids, since then Devin has had no problems with ear infections! The day before Brooke's 2nd birthday we found out we were pregnant with our 3rd child, and on November 11, 2008 Kara Jennifer was born. The past year has defiantly been an eventful one since Kara was born. We are currently living back with my parents trying got save up some money to buy a new (bigger house) to hold our growing family. Its been great being here and even though a lot of people might think that we would have issues we have yet to have any problems.
