Eviction Notice...

Ain't it kind of funny when you hear some say the eviction notice is given when they are preggo and either getting and induction or csection? I thinks its a funny term to be using when your talking about having a kid but hey I'm using it this time! The Eviction Notice has been given for August 17th at 8am! Okay not exactly 8am that is when I go in to start the induction, hopefully she will be evicted soon after that but we'll see exactly how that goes.
So yeah I had my 39 week check up today... Well I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow, but the doctor checked to see if I was dilated and I am now 3cm and thinning out. Which is a good sign because just this past Tuesday (the 10th) I was still 2cm and thick. So yeah for progression! I've been contracting since about 1am this morning and having lots of back pain, so maybe this means this little bundle will show her face sooner then Tuesday but I guess we will just have to see how things go. I can't get my hopes up because if I end up not having her until Tuesday I am going to be very bummed.
So for now I try (the keyword here is TRY) to keep my patients. And every one elses for that matter LOL.
So wish us luck... send some "labor dust"... keep your fingers crossed... or whatever it is you want ot do...

Have a Great Day!

38 weeks.....

Well offically I won't be 38 weeks until tomorrow but... I had my 38 week check up today... So I took another picture this week (today) and I am hoping this will be my last maternity picture that I take. So for those following and who care... I am now at 225, I'm a bit bummed about this because I gained 2lbs since last week, (although this was after lunch so maybe I didn't actually gained that much), but also it brings my total weight gain to 20lbs so that is why I am hoping to have this baby real soon so I don't gain anymore weight.
So yeah I had my appointment today and they are still sticking with hopefully inducing me at 39 weeks if I don't have her before then, I'm guessing my blood pressure is good they didn't say anything, baby is down were it is suppose to be. He also said she is small, but my biggest baby was 7lbs 2oz and to me that is still small. He didn't indicate what weight he thought she was at just said that she is small. He did check to see if I was dilated and stripped my membranes in the process and I am currently 2 cm dilated. I have been having some cramping since the exam so hopefully we will be seeing some progress soon. I'm excited but a bit nervous since I have never had a natural labor they have all been induced so I am really hoping to go into labor on my own now! So wish us luck and hopefully the next post you will be seeing is of me announcing our newest arrival!
Have a Great Day!

The Hubby Gave his Approval

Yes you read that right, The Hubby has given his approval, on what you are probably thinking.... Well at my 35 week appointment my doctor told me that if I went into labor that I had the go ahead to have the baby! I was excited, lets get this kid out! But the Hubby wasn't happy about that and wanted me to wait... Mainly because he didn't want us to have another Birthday in July (since mine and Devin's birthdays are in July). We were joking and playing around last night (I know cute ain't it) and he was making me laugh ALOT and I was having a few contractions, I told him to stop or he might send me into labor, He told me its August now so its okay. We were aiming to having the baby hopefully on the 12th (since we are our own until after 39 weeks) but now that it is August the Hubby has given me approval and said that I can have the baby anytime now! I'm excited about this although I will be waiting a few days, since as I have said before Our kiddos are born either the day before, day of, or day after a holiday or birthday. The Hubby's grandfather's Birthday is on the 5th (he passed away before me and the hubby began dating) I am thinking this could be the day because well I believe in signs, believe me when it has come to our kids we have had many signs from loved ones. But recently the mother in law was playing her daily numbers in the lotto and she normally does not play the hubby's grandfathers birthday but for some reason she just had this feeling to play the number and she won! I could be overreacting but to me that may be a sign that the baby will be showing her face around then! But even if she doesn't show up that day, my grandmothers birthday is the 6th and then Hubby's is the 11th and Brother in law's is the 13th so there are my days that I am aiming for.... Again either the day before, the day of, or day after. If your confused as to what I am talking about let me elaborate... Zachary was born the day after Fathers day, Devin was born the Day after my birthday (and 2 days after the 4th of July), Brooke was born the day before St. Patty's day, and Kara was born on veterans day).
I still think it would be cool to have the baby on the 12th since our first child together was born the day after my birthday so it would be nice to have our last born the day after his birthday, but.... I also think it would be nice to have the baby come on the hubby's grandfathers birthday or my grandmother's birthday. so I am torn, obviously this kid is going to come when she is ready (unless I am induced) so around the 5th (maybe the night before) I will begin trying natural labor inductions, like walking and labor cookies and other such TMI things, and if she is ready then great! If she is not then we will just have to wait till she is, I'll continue with the labor induction techniques on the 6th & 7th and if that doesn't work then I will begin them again on the Hubby's birthday. So basically I am hoping to announce our newest addition with in the next week!
Stayed tooned because you never know it could happen sooner then you think!

Have a Great Day!

37 weeks

Full term! Yipee, I made it to full term and now this Oh So Tiny Bundle can show her face at anytime if she would like to. I had my appointment on Wednesday (the 28th) and guess what? No weight gain in the last week, again Yipee that means I am still only at 18lbs gained with this baby with only a few more weeks to go. Yes I know they say 25-30lbs is good weight gain during pregnancy but when you are overweight to begin with and actually/technically borderline obese (according to my weight and height although I don't look it, I don't think) 18lbs is an awesome weight gain, I wish it was less but I am happy with 18lbs hopefully I can keep this up for the next 3 weeks (or less, hopefully less).

I did it I got up the nerve to ask my doctor about induction. He said that its possible but won't happen until I hit 39 weeks, which sucks! because the 12th I will be 38 weeks and 6 days, and even thought its the day before I hit 39 weeks they still won't induce me I have to be 39 weeks for the induction. But the doctor did say that maybe they will strip my membranes at 38 weeks (which I will be next week) and maybe that will help me to go into labor on my own and hopefully have the baby on the 12th like we want. It kinda sucks because I am seeing another doctor next week so I have to go through this all over again, and hopefully he will be willing to strip my membranes like the doctor I seen today said he would. So 2 more weeks till the 12th so hopefully that means that we will be having a baby in 2 weeks! I'm excited and geeked that we will be having a baby soon. The weeks seem to be going by pretty quickly so in no time I should be posting that my new little baby was born! I can't wait I am defiantly getting anxious to finally meet this little baby that has been getting the hiccups and kicking the crap out of me, and plus wait that means maybe my heartburn will stop! Bonus! This kid is going to have a ton of hair I guarantee it.

Last night I was contracting some (for probably less then an hour, maybe an hour) I can already tell that when I do go into labor it will be back labor, usually when I have Braxton Hicks contractions they are uncomfortable and sometimes I feel them in my back but not always, but last night they were for real contractions not braxton hicks. They were pretty painful and I felt them in my back and in my thighs. They did taper off after a while, but started out at around 3 minutes apart with a few that were only 1 minute apart. I was able to go to sleep once they started to taper off. Today my back hurts a little but not to bad. I am a little uncomfortable in the belly, and have been panicking about the baby a little because she has been less active then normal, I wonder about going in and getting looked at but they will probably say that there is nothing to worry about and that she is doing fine. I hate going in and feeling stupid because they think I am overreacting. I feel that way when I tell my family about stuff sometimes too. I'm not overreacting and I know I'm not I know how often this baby moves and usually she is very active when I go to bed and pretty active in the morning when I wake up. The last few days she hasn't been quit as active going to bed and barely active at all in the morning, I usually have to kick her butt into gear by eating something and drinking something and before she would just be active before I ever got out of bed. I will definatly be keeping and eye on her if she gets less active I will go in to be checked.

Well have a Great Day!

36 weeks...Hormones! (picture added)

9 Months! Seriously I have been waiting for this day... Well not exactly this day just because I won't be 36 weeks (9 months) till tomorrow but I have mainly been waiting for the day that our baby gets here and well being 36 week or 9 months means that I only have 4 weeks or less left! I had my appointment today, yes I am going weekly now! I've gained 1lb since last week :( but that puts my total weight gain so far at 18lbs from my prepregnancy weight. I'm still measuring a little smaller (still at 31cm, the same as last week), So no belly growth. I believe the baby has dropped because I feel tons of pressure now and pain as well, Good sign right? The doctor did a GBS test (you know Group B Strep test) and also checked to make sure I wasn't leaking any fluid (I have been concerned about that) Good thing is no leakage! She didn't check for Dilation with I figured she would have but maybe didn't because of all the torture she put me through "down there" doing the GBS test and checking for leakage. I have my next appointment next Wednesday, I keep forgetting to ask the docs about doing the induction on the 12th, really is there a point in asking right now, I still have 3 weeks till the 12th anyways and I don't know if they would do, (okay the truth is I am nervous to ask them since I don't know their policy on elective inductions). Maybe I will ask next week, maybe I won't who knows. Maybe the baby will decide to make her appearance on the 12th on her own with out me being inducted, which I would love to see if that would happen, but then would be bummed if she didn't. So I'm conflicted..... Oh I'll post a new pic soon I have been taking belly shots I just have to download them :)

I have been very moody and hormonal lately seriously, my kids are getting on my nerves like crazy! I love them, I sincerely do but OMG can the fight and whine and complain anymore then they already do? Brooke is constantly whining about something anymore and for some reason Devin has taken it upon herself to get on Brooke's nerves and make her whine even more, not to mention Devin does the same thing to Kara to make her cry. Its like all of sudden she has decided that her only entertainment for the summer is to annoy the hell out of her sisters and piss me off. I need to find something for them to do.... They have tons of toys in the basement to play with they have a sandbox and swing set in the back yard, and they even have neighbor kids to play with but yet they are still constantly board and wanting to just sit in front of the tv or computer doing nothing and its got to stop. I was thinking about maybe taking them to the zoo this weekend, hopefully the hubby is up to it. I have a project I want to do to decorate their rooms maybe I will let them get involved with it or find them a project that they can do.... So with that I will be getting off the computer so that we can get them busy doing something.

Have a Great Day!

35 weeks!

Okay So I won't be 9 months until next Friday but what the hey we'll do an update now. I'm 35 weeks as of Friday and I had my appointment this week. I gained another 4lbs since my last appointment 2 weeks ago (bummer) and I hate to admit it but hey whatever I am now at 221. I was hoping to not go past 220 but obviously that didn't happen. So far that brings my total weight gain to 17lbs from my prepregnancy weight. which I guess that is not to bad. Baby is still looking good heart rate in the 140's (which is normally is). She is now head down, I was worried about that because she was transverse for so long, but hey at least she is now head down. Doctor measured me belly and said I am about were I am suppose to be, but I kinda got a glimpse at the tape and looked like it said 31cm which would be 31 weeks (when it should be saying 35cm) but then again I might have been measuring small all along but I don't know. The doctor also told me that if I go into labor now that I can have the baby! Now I am geeked yes I can have the baby any time now. But I know that at 35 weeks its still a bit to early to be having the baby, I just wish the doctor hadn't told me that because I really want this baby out now, but I know I need to wait a few more weeks. But then again its all up to the baby of when she is coming out! (even though I have been contracting alot lately, but nothing timable). I am trying to be patient but with the contraction and the very uncomfortable heat lately I am so ready for this kiddo! But knowing my kiddos, this one will wait. :) So I sit here being uncomfortable and trying to stay as patient as I can.
Tomorrow we will be going to a family reunion at the lake so at least I will be able to stay cool tomorrow. :)

Have a Great Weekend!

Look what I got! (oh and Devin too!)

Do you know what this is?

I'll give you a few guesses before I tell you.....
Go ahead guess......
I'll give you a little guess....
It has something to do with my Birthday......
Did you guess? Well lets see if you guessed right.....
David actually went out and bought me the Digital Camera that I wanted for my Birthday! I was very surprised I didn't think he was going to get it. But of course I had to promise him that we were not getting professional pictures done anymore. Which with an the Awesome A** camera that he got me I don't mind giving up going to the professionals because we will just use my new Awesome A** camera to take our pictures. So you may be see ALOT and I mean ALOT of pictures posted very soon here! Because I have been playing with my camera since the Hubby gave it to me early!
My Dad said it was no far that I got my Birthday present early (even though I am the one that balances the check book and would find out soon enough). So he kept bothering us until we gave Devin her Birthday present to!

So here is Devin with her brand new lap top that we gave her for her Birthday....
She was super excited!
and yes I used my new camera to take the picture..... :)
So both of us kinda got to celebrate our birthdays early!
Guess what?!?
I had my OB appointment today and found out that I didn't gain any weight since my last appointment. I know it might not sound good, but when you were overweight before you got preggo, you try not to gain a butt load of weight. Baby is looking good, although I am super uncomfortable and have been having some contractions... But we still have 7 weeks left.....
Have a Great Day!

8 Months Preggo!

32 weeks! 8 weeks left! Whenever I sit here and think about wow I have 2 months left, I'm 32 weeks preggo I think wow I still have some time left, then I think wow I have just 8 weeks left not much farther and we will have our newest addition here! I've been nesting ALOT lately I washed all of our babies clothes, folded them and put them away. I organized all the things that I already have. I've got the diaper bag pretty well packed. I've got my hospital bag pretty much packed, I have some last minute things to be done but mostly I think we are ready to go. I still need to get a nursing bra (I know you probably really don't want to hear it) I am not exactly a small women in the chest and its hard as hell to find a bra that fit. I know, I know TMI but I have to go to a specialty store to get my bra's and seriously even at the specialty store doesn't carry many in my size. So finding a nursing bra that fits is very hard to do. I do want to buy some swaddling blankets too, just a few. I found this really cute one and bought it. The hubby thinks I'm crazy because its cow print but seriously isn't it so cute??

My mom thinks I'm nuts because she says alot of my baby stuff is gender neutral but I'm sorry cute is cute!

If you to think this is cute you can find it online at babies are us the brand is Sozo.

I am super excited that we will soon have another little girl to love on. I can't wait!

Well are you waiting for my update on how things are going? Sorry I got a bit side tracked.
Things are going well, actually they are going as well as they can go being 8 months preggo in the summer with it being very hot and muggy. I have been very tired and wanting to nap but for some reason my stupid butt won't nap when Kara naps (go figure). I haven't been sleeping very well, with getting up with Kara when she is having her little issues and having to pee all the damn time. I've get nauseated again here and there but its not constant, so thats a good thing. at my appointment 2 weeks ago I had gained a total of 13lbs. I'm hoping I don't gain to much weight since I was overweight to begin with, but the doctors haven't said anything about my weight gain anyways (again probably because I was already overweight). I have my next appointment on Thursday so I guess we will see were my weight has gone since the last time.
Baby is still sitting sideways, so that is a concern of mine but everyone keeps telling me don't worry she'll move into place we have plenty of time, I know we do but it still worries me that she may not turn she seems to be confortable sitting in my tummy sideways (but believe me its not comfortable for me!)
I decided to take 2 8 month pictures this week because I was wearing a dress so I didn't know if you could get the full affect of the belly so here is my 2nd picture!

I don't know if its my imagination but it almost looks as though baby has dropped (I'm not sure how she could though with the way she is laying). Hope you've enjoyed my update.

Have a Great Day!

Meet my Baby (well 4D version)

So last week my mommy asked me what I wanted for my birthday (since its coming up in July, just in case you wanted to know). Well I told her if she wanted she could get me the 4D ultrasound that I wanted (you know the one I bitched about a few weeks back). Well she agree'd to it and I made my appointment, because they had a special going on in May. I got my appointment for the 30th, but the little bugger child was being stubborn and had herself curled up in a ball and refused to move at all. She had her hands, elbows, knees and feet in her face. So I went back on the 1st and we tried again. Thankfully this time around she decided to cooperate and we got some good shots of her at 28 weeks and 4 days. I asked them to check to see if she was for sure a girl and they didn't have to tell me I could see if up there on the screen, she is indeed and for sure a girl. I would post that picture but she is so developed down there, its not just the three lines you normally see in an ultrasound and just don't feel right posting her privates parts all over the internets.

So enjoy some of the pictures that we got on CD.

I think she is trying to put her hand in her mouth.

Sticking her tongue out at ya.

Making faces.

peeking at you with one eye!

got her hand by her face.

still covering part of her face.

opening her mouth.

They say she has my nose.

So there you have it. Ain't she a cutie? The Hubby didn't want to see her pictures, he has chose to wait until after she is born to look at the pictures. I respect his decision but I am impatient I wanted to see her now. Like I told him the other day, if I had it my way I would speed time up and she would be here now, but obviously we need to wait because we're only 29 weeks preggo right now and she needs to mature some more.

I gained 6lbs since my last appointment (holy crap I need to stop eating so damn much). Everything is looking good with the baby and my next appointment is in 2 weeks. Yep you know when your getting closer when you start your every two week visits.

I am still getting headaches but the doc prescribed me Tylonal 3's which seem to work to get rid of the headaches and I don't know how but they make the extra strength tylonal more effective. So I am glad I finally am getting some relief from these headaches. Especially since the doc said if they tylonal didn't work she was going to send me for a cat scan.

So theres my little update for now, sorry I haven't been posting much lately but with the headaches and the children I have been preoccupied. Thanks for visiting and I will post again soon (I hope :) )

Have a Great Weekend

The 3rd Trimester....

So I have hit 28 weeks! 7 Months Preggo, Woot Woot! 3rd trimester baby! Obviously I am psyched to be this far because that means not to much longer (okay yeah I still have 3 months left but I'm that much closer to getting this kid out of me!). I love that the warm weather is finally here but oh man am I in for it this summer! Sometimes I just feel like its just way to hot! I'll just have to fill the kiddie pool up everyday and soak huh? Yeah I know what your thinking.... Quit your bitching, everyone has to deal with this weather not just me.

I think I have finally figured out how to keep my headaches under control. I clench my teeth at night and need to wear a bite splint to keep my jaw from hurting and they do cause headaches at times. Well I haven't been able to wear my bite splint because this has made me nauseated and gage whenever I wear it... I have to take it off before I stand up, I can only wear the splint if I am laying down. Well I can FINALLY wear my splint without getting sick so I have been wearing it for the last 2 nights and in the morning yes I am still waking up with headaches but if I take some Tylenol the headache does lessen or go away, I am so glad I think have finally gotten it under control! It only took a week to do it LOL.

I have my 7 month preggo check up next Thursday so I can't exactly update you on the what the doc says just yet. I just got some news yesterday that the hospital that I am suppose to deliver at is getting rid of the birthing center because they don't have enough births per year. So we will have to travel to the nearest hospital to have the baby. So the other hospital really isn't "that" far away, maybe 30 minute (maybe more depending on traffic) so its not like its that far away but the hospital that I was suppose to deliver at is only 5 minutes away! Its suppose to close some time in the next several months (as the paper says). I am so hoping that they wait to close it down till after we have had the baby, it would be so much more convenient for my family (seeing as my mother and father will probably be taking care of the kiddos while I'm in the hossy and its not a long ass drive). I am hoping to talk to my OB this coming week and see if there is a way that I can deliver at the closer hospital (obviously if its around the time I'm due).

Oh guess what?!?! Remember awhile back I was complaining about getting a 3D/4D ultrasound? Well my mom asked what I wanted for my birthday and honestly I have no clue so I said if she wanted to pay for the ultrasound that would be an awesome gift. So she said that would be fine. They are actually having a deal for the month of May to only on Sundays so tomorrow I will be getting my ultrasound. I'm excited but at the same time kinda bummed out because no one wants to go with me to the ultrasound. Obviously the Hubby doesn't want to go because he doesn't want to see the baby in that much detail, and of course he was like well if you want me to go I will but I won't be looking at the monitor, so seriously why would I make him go then because he really doesn't want to go. I asked my mom and she doesn't want to go either (I'm not sure why) but she to said well if you really want me to go I will, but again why would I want to make her go when she doesn't want to? I don't want to guilt her into it. My dad doesn't want to go either because he doesn't see the point in ultrasounds. And my best freind is out of state so I am on my own! Thats a bummer thing for me because I don't want to go on my own. But I am going to try and suck it up and I will enjoy this seeing my baby in such a different form. Not to mention that I get to find out for sure if we are having a girl or not.

Speaking of a girl, I know I told you all before that we decided on Carly Mae as a name for our baby girl but I started thinking (I do that alot remember?) Well I started looking at our names as a family... We have David, Kathy, Devin, Brooke & Kara. Do you see a pattern here? I did right away, there are 2 D's, 2 K's so why not have 2 B's. So we started thinking about a back up name and came up with Bailey Mae. I personally like both so I am not yet sure which one I like more. What do you think?

Well its time for me to go and deal with this heat and tend to my kiddos

Have a Great Memorial Day Weekend!!!

This kid is a pain in my .....back

You know I understand that when your preggo you shouldn't lay on your back but seriously you can't be expected to lay on your side 10 months! I was laying in bed watching TV with the hubby and the next thing I know my foot starts tingling, I have never experienced this with any of my other pregnancies I have never had any issues with laying on my back but I have noticed I have had some issues with my back with this pregnancy. When I was in the hospital a few weeks back (you remember that post? well go here if you want.) When I was laying in a semi-reclined position I was having some lower back pain during the contractions (seriously back labor already? I'm in trouble!). Anyways with in a minute of moving to my side the tingling in my foot went away, thats a good thing but my only concern (which really isn't a concern) is I some how always end up sleeping on my back at night I know, I know not good but what can I do my hips hurt from laying on my sides so much. Even sitting straight up on the couch or in a chair my lower back and hips hurt, this sucks I still have 13 more weeks left, yep thats right I will be 27 weeks on Friday. I did figure out last night that I can shove a pillow under my back to give me some relieve on my back so I can some what sleep on my back and give my hips some relief.
Sorry I am complaining, I probably sound like a cry baby huh? I should just suck it up huh? Maybe a visit with my chiropractor will get me to stop my bitching..... Thanks for listening!

Have a Great Day!

6 month update...

So I had my 6 month check up today. You know the usual, my weight is up a little, and I did a pole in my house and everyone says that I count my weight gain from my prepregnancy weight so my weight gain at 24 weeks and 6 days is 5 pounds, not bad huh? Really even if you go by the weight that I lost and have now gained my weight gain is 13 pounds which I honestly don't think is to bad, Oh and it was afternoon so I had breakfast and lunch to had some weight too. HAHA look at me trying to make excuses for my weight. Well if you read my post yesterday then you know that I was in the hospital Tuesday night and part of Wednesday morning because of contraction, which were caused by extreme dehydration. Well I was thinking that the doctor would give me some restriction and such but nope she didn't. Actually the doctor said that I can continue my walking! I was really surprised but she said as long as I make sure I continue to drink plenty of water and if I start feeling contractions then to stop my walking. I also asked if it was ok for us to have the turtle that we had found (did you read that post about Sushi?), well she said that its no big deal that we can keep him and to just make sure I wash my hands and take the precautions, which I have started wearing gloves when I take care of or handle him. Oh and guess what? I can dye my hair! I need it bad have you seen my roots lately? Yeah they are bad! I can't wait to get my hair touched up. So there you have it I had a great appointment, oh wait I had to get a 1 hour glucose test, yeah that part sucked but thats okay. I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and after our little scar this week I made our appointment to get the tour of the birthing center. The hubby made a joke when I told him about doing the tour, saying didn't we just do that already? haha no we didn't, yeah so we know what floor its on and were to go and what the triage looks like but thats about it, But thats in another month. So there you have it there is my 6 month preggo update and thats all folks. :)

Have a Great Day!

What a day!

So if you don't follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Myspace then you have no clue of the day that I had yesterday, last night and even into the wee hours of this morning.....
Yesterday started out alright, We went to a funeral for the hubby's best freinds dad. It was a wonderful ceremony, first they did mass at the church that he was baptised in then we went to the cemetary were he had a Military funeral, complete with a 21 gun solute, buggle and taps (If you don't know what that is, its the drum beat they play when a soldier has fallen) and Marines folding the his flag to give to his son. I have never been to a Military funeral so it was all new to me to see all the happened. We even stayed afterward to watch them bury the casket (which I have never seen either) and the men that were there to bury him were very nice and let his son throw in the first scoop of dirt, it was very sweet and very sad at the same time. I was on my feet alot yesterday. I thought I was drinking enough, maybe not enough water, Maybe its just that I had 1 to many caffine drinks (I had 2) and not enough water. But once we got home I just was not feeling right, I tried to take it easy best I could other then trying to take care of the girls (it was shower night). Well we put the girls to bed around 8:15-8:30pm and sat down on the couch and began playing on the computer. Thats when I notice the contractions.... Just about every two minutes, so I sent the hubby a facebook message (okay we were both on the computer in 2 different rooms and I didn't want to yell). So we decided to go to the hospital. They had me pee in a cup and got me all hooked up to the monitors, luckily the baby was cooperating and they were able to monitor the heart rate unfortunitly they had a harder time getting the contractions on the monitor but did finally get them and sure enough I was contracting every 2-5 minutes. They checked my urine and found out I was extremely dehydrated, so the nurse had me down a cup of water and then drink another. The contractions weren't slowing down and some of them were beginning to hurt. So They started and IV, no such luck the contractions were still coming and I had already gone through 2 bags of IV fluids so they check me, no dilation (which is a good thing). So they started another bag and gave me a shot of turbutaline which did slow them down (finally), they decided to give me another shot of it for good measure and sure enough the contractions finally stopped! So I was able to go home at 3 am this morning.
I'm trying to take it easy today to let my uterus relax, luckily its just me and Kara today, as Brooke has school. I haven't really felt many contractions this morning, except like in the last 1/2 hour I have been feeling a bit strange so I am going to hurry up and finish this post and lay down and hope that whatever is going on stops. I am only 24 weeks and 5 days and now is not a good time for this little bundle to be making its appearance just yet. If you are the praying type can you please keep us in your thoughts and prayers that this little turd doesn't decide to make its debut to early.

Have a Great Day!

5 months

Well its time for another Pregnancy update! I'm now 5 months preggo, can you believe it, Half way there! I'm doing pretty good now. The nausea is almost all gone although I do have some issues in the morning sometimes, if I either wait to long to eat or actually get to sleep in. Even if I eat as soon as I wake up (when I've slept in) its still been a while since I last ate so I get nauseated. The baby is moving alot most of the time, there have been a few days that I was a little worried that something was wrong because the baby wasn't moving to much. But the little booger started moving around last night and even today is moving alot more again so it seems that everything is fine. I am thankful that my aunt gave me her heart doppler. Whenever I start to worry about this little bundle I just pull out the doppler and listen to that little heart beating, and that is music to my ears! So here is one (yes I said one I'm posting two pics this week) of my 20 week belly.

This is on Easter I definatly notice more of a belly now and its more noticable that I am pregnant now, I don't just look like a big fat arse anymore (at least most of the time). If you didn't read my update about the ultrasound you can read that here and if you didn't here the results of the ultrasound you can read about that here. I am doing alot better with the fact that our baby has 2 cyst on its brain. I did some research and reading and listening to the doctor and ultrasound technician and I know everything will be fine. I am sure (and hope) they will do another ultrasound later on to make sure that the cysts have gone away. When I posted about being so upset mainly it was because after loosing Zachary its been very scary to think that we may loose another baby. But I know now that the cyst are a normal occurance and that we should be fine and our baby should be ok. I see my OB on Thursday (4-8) for my 5 month check up and of course I will be asking about getting another ultrasound later and make sure that they do know that I had the same issue with a previous child. Of course I was joking with the hubby because how strange is it that these cysts occur in 1/100 pregnant women and I have had it occur 2 times! Whats up with that? I still have my if's about this baby being a girl, I'm use to the fact that its probably a girl and have already called her Carly a few times (especially when I talk to family) but I don't want to call her Carly to much just in case they did mess up and its a boy (which it most likely is not). But the hubby has for now (at least if he can't think of anything better) decided that her name will be Carly Mae. I've liked the feedback on all from all the people who have said that they love the name Carly, that makes me feel good that we have again came up with the right name to call our daughter. A few of my family members are still getting use to the name, they don't hate it but whenever I say it they kinda look at me like who the hell is that and I have to remind them (its kinda funny).
So you have been waiting... Here is the 2nd preggo pic. Yeah its a full view of me, You may not see many more of these depending on how much bigger I get. I still haven't really gained any weight so I'm ok with how I look right now (other then I was fat before hand).

So there you have it. I still have to post some pictures from this weekend of, well mainly Kara running around my grandmas backyard, but I will wait till tomorrow to post those and then of course you will probably get my OB update at the end of the week.

Have a Great Day!

I know everything is fine but I can't help but cry.

I posted the other day that I was getting my 20 week ultrasound (at 19 1/2 weeks). I had a detailed ultrasound done, because of my past history (with Brooke being born with club foot and Zachary being stillborn). The ultrasound went well and I figured things were good because well the technician didn't seem to concerned while doing the ultrasound. I even asked her about some things that they had found with Zachary. When I was just about 5 months pregnant with Zachary I had a ultrasound sound done, during it the doctors got concerned and called a specialist in, the next thing I knew I was sitting in a consultation room discussing our options, they had found 2 cysts on Zachary's brain. I was scared (of course), the doctors had me freaked out that there was something medically wrong with my child and we got an amnio done to see what was wrong. The amnio results came back normal and by 7 months they were gone. Of course I never blamed Zachary's death on the cysts I had no reason to.

When I was getting my ultrasound on Monday I mentioned this to the technician and she said that they are normal and called Choroid Plexus Cysts, she even comment that she doesn't understand why doctors freak patients out about them since they are so common.

Well today I got a phone call from my OB, she just wanted to let me know that the ultrasound looked good but there was one thing that they found, its nothing to worry about but they found 2 cysts (choroid plexus cysts) on the babys brain. She said that they see this all time and make phone calls almost daily to let parents know.
In my mind I know everything will be okay, but a part of me is still scared. I went through alot with Zachary and the doctors scared the crap out of me because of these cysts, with all the problems that they could indicate. I keep telling myself everything is going to be fine, but at the same time when I try to actually speak about it I can't help but cry.

Today is my Dad's birthday so I'm trying to keep Happy and not seem upset. Happy Thoughts.

Have a Great Day!

Oh BOY!!!

Boy oh Boy oh Boy..... Our Family will be welcoming another Girl this August! Yep thats right we will have 4 girls! I'm not for certain but the last time we discussed it her name will be Carly Mae But we're still not sure.

I was like I thought I would be... Bummed, but I am still happy! I guess with so many people saying they thought it would be a boy I just kep thinking maybe there is a chance that its a boy. Even the ultrasound technician thought that maybe it was a boy, her exact words were " I've kept waiting hoping something would grow there, but its not so looks like your having another girl" Ok those aren't the exact words but basically its almost exactly what she said.

The baby was being very good for the technician and cooperating very well. She was waving and chewing on her hand alot to. So thats it.. We will probably still be discussing names cause the Hubby isn't sure yet adn I will update you later... :)

Have a Great Day!

In just 2 hours.....

In just a couple hours I will be at my ultrasound appointment looking at my little bundle in my belly and hopefully finding out what we are having. I am actually surprised that I was actually able to sleep last night. I figured I would have been way to excited to sleep, but was I wrong, I slept pretty good actually other then being a little uncomfortable. I'm counting down the minutes... I've already gotten my shower out of the way, I still have to do my hair and makeup but you I have some time. Then don't forget the whole drink a butt load of water till your bladder is ready to explode preparation step. That's going to SUCK! When I was preggo with Zachary I did that and when they tried to do my ultrasound my bladder was actually to full to see anything and the technician actually had the nerve to tell me go ahead and go to the bathroom but only let out a little bit of urine. I was like are you kidding me? I could barely even walk to the bathroom to go pee! Hopefully that's not the case this time. I'm so anxious I really don't want to wait the 2 hours until my appointment I would love to leave now! But sadly I must be patient, have I ever told you that I am not the patient type? That must be were Kara gets it from.(haha) Did I mention that I am going shopping after my appointment? I'm going to go buy some baby clothes for our new baby boy or girl! I'm sure I will post again later today to yell to the world what it is that we are having but first I have to tell my baby daddy (you know the hubby) and then my family, don't worry though you will all find out today I promise!

Have a Wonderful Day!

4 months.....

2nd Trimester, Yea! what fun! Okay my first thought is when will the nausea go away and when will the energy come? And do you get energy when you didn't have any before pregnancy?

Before you begin asking, yes we are going to find out what we are having, no we haven't found out yet. I swear that is all I hear anymore... Have you found out what your having yet? When its strangers fine you don't know me so of course your not going to know when I am going to find out what we are having, But I'm sorry if you are a Friend or family member why do you keep asking? If and when we find out you will be the first to know I promise. So maybe I am being bitchy about this but I have been asked so much, if we found out what we are having and when we will find out what we are having I am just so aggravated by those questions. And for the record (again, since I have repeated it every time I am asked the same question over and over again), from what I was told at my (new) doctors office they do the "big" ultrasound at 20 weeks I am 16 weeks (will be 17 weeks on Friday) so I haven't even scheduled the appointment yet. I see my OB on this Thursday the 11th, hopefully that is when we will schedule the appointment. I weighed myself the other day (which I did before and after my last doctors appointment) and I have not gained any weight in 4 weeks. I'm sure its not a big deal because as long as I don't loose anymore weight, but at the same time I get worried because with not gaining any weight is the baby still getting the right nutrition? Is it growing okay? Basically I just want to know if my baby is okay? I don't feel him/her kicking very often, which feels odd to me because by now my other 3 we kicking a lot. Maybe I'm just being paranoid, no scratch that I am being paranoid and I have been since I found out I was pregnant, for some reason this pregnancy really has me freaked out, I just keep thinking something bad will happen, and I can't get it out of my head! I just have to calm down and stop panicking. I got my blood work done the other day, and after having 8 vials of blood drawn I have a massive bruise on my arm, its lovely really. I'm sure I will update again once I see the doctor on Thursday. So I guess if there is anything to update you will hear more on then.
Have a Great Day!

The 3 month mark....

So last Friday I hit the 12 week mark, yes I know this is a week late but I didn't have my doctors appointment till today so I wanted to wait instead of posting again. So yes this week I am not 13 weeks officially in the 2nd trimester! Yay, what a milestone. So if you have been following me or you know me, you know that yes I still am suffering from severe nausea and food SUCKS, I hate food, and have to force myself to eat everyday. Today my doctor prescribed me some Zofran for the nausea and I am hoping so much that it helps.
I have lost 6lbs since my last doctors visit 4 weeks ago (of course its hard not to when you barely eat all day and throw up. I don't throw up all the time but with being sick last week, and some days waiting to long to eat (because I don't want to) causes me to vomit. I heard the baby's heartbeat today, which made me feel great to hear, since this pregnancy is still so unreal to me. In the picture above it may look like I am starting to show a little but honestly I am not showing much at all, I was bigger at this point in my last pregnancy, but for some reason (maybe because I started out with a bigger frame in this pregnancy) I'm not showing like I normally have. I get to have the dreaded blood work done (before my next appointment in 4 weeks). I think I actually felt this little one move the other day, but I am not exactly sure if it was the baby or not. I am definatly feeling exhausted, I need to sleep alot! It sucks that the hubby is layed off right now but at the same time its helpful because he was able to sleep in Kara's room with her so I could sleep last night (she again didn't get her afternoon nap, and woke up in the middle of the night to play).
I normally need to take a nap at least once a day but the last few days because we are trying to get thing rearranged in the house I have not been able to nap. Hopefully with this 2nd trimester I will see less nausea and more energy. I can hope can't I?

Have a Great Day!

8 Weeks (with picture)

So yeah I am 8 weeks today (2 months for those who don't know LOL just playing). time seems to be flying but at the same time it isn't. My doctor's appointment is just 7 days ways and I am so excited I will get to hear "Juniors" (Devin's nickname for the baby) heartbeat and see Junior as well! I wish David could go with me but he will be working and I don't think he has ever taken a day off to go to a doctors appointment with me. But that's alright at least he will see the pictures when he gets home. The nurse said they will give me plenty of pictures, I'm still nervous about switching doctors but at least they are really nice over at the new office that I will be going to! So if you look to your right you will see my 8 week belly shot, I think it looks bigger in the picture I don't know why when I look at myself I don't see that big of a belly. I'm not wearing misleading clothes this time around either, I was wearing maternity yoga pants and a maternity top.
as the same as last week I still have nausea... and it SUCKS! I'm barely hungry because of it and then when I finally decide to eat is taken to long and I get even sicker. Its seems that verners is the only thing that helps keep the nausea away and if I stop drinking it the nausea appears again! Of course I am still completely exhausted, but then again its hard not to be when I have 3 children to take care of (okay mainly its because the youngest of the 3 has issues sleeping, but I can say she has been doing better, but I don't know if it will stay this way). So yeah that was my monthly update.

I have a crabby butt to take care of.

Have a great Day!!
