I don't know...

Are you getting tired of me talking about weight loss and other such topics that are connected to that? I know I am getting tired of writing about it (okay that's a lie).

As with most days I have hit a brain block. I could talk about the horrible shooting in Tucson, Arizona and that its a horrible situation and my heart goes out to those who died and were injured but I don't want to get to far into the subject because then it brings up subject of politics and honestly I don't like discussing politics, because lets face it we all have our beliefs and really is there a point in fighting about politics because neither of us are going to change our thoughts, right?
I could talk about how I'm cold and I hate winter but do you really want to hear me bitch and moan? (doubtful).
I am really at a loss at what to say, because right now the main thing on my mind is about weight loss (maybe because I need to get up and do my exercises for the day and just haven't motivated myself enough just yet, good thing its early still).
There really isn't much to update on the kids because well not much has been going on with them, Devin has been going to school (against her will I might add), I have been working on "teaching" Brooke and Kara. Reviewing their your baby can read videos and books, reviewing their alphabet cards and teaching books. But it is the weekend so just like Devin they get the weekends off of learning. They have been spending time with their cousin who stayed the night with them last night. Its been pretty quite even though I have 5 children in the house ranging from 5 months to 7 years of age. Okay that is a partial lie, right now it is pretty quite because they are all down stairs playing in the toy room but when they are upstairs its pretty stinking noisy. Carly has been pretty quite lately as well (except when you lay her on her tummy, because the kid hates tummy time). Unfortunately for my baby girl ever since she got her shots on Thursday she has been running a low grade fever, which is actually the first time she has ever been remotely sick. There has been a lot of sickness going on through our house in the past few weeks and really I think Carly was the only one who didn't end up sick, which maybe that is why she ended up with a low grade fever, maybe, possibly the shots brought something out that has been lying dormant. I don't know (I'm not a doctor).
But I must leave you all because I am sure I am boring you as well (sorry). I need to get off my arse (and off the computer) and do my exercises, so that I can get on with the day.

Have an Oh So Wonderful Day!

A random kind of post

So I am sitting here watching your baby can read with my kids and surfing facebook and thinking about things... See I can multi task!

When I see on facebook a bunch of my old school freinds say that there is an explosion not far from were I use to live!

The furniture store exploded in my old town! They aren't yet sure how it happened but its pretty crazy! And scary I hope the people that were in the store are okay! I am prayer for anyone who was involved that they will be okay!
I had to go grocery shopping yesterday, which let me tell you is a bad idea when you are sick and not feeling good but it needed to be done. An even worse idea though... Taking 3 kids grocery shopping while sick! Let me tell that was a bad move on my part! Thankfully my sweet husband met me at the store to help me finish shopping and load the grocerys into the truck.
Well I bought some things yesterday that I know I will be eating once I start my new years resolution to get healthy (and thinner) next year. Well I decided today that I'm going to start a little early. Why now right? I mean new years is only days away, so I figured that I mine as well start now, because its never to late to start getting healthy and in to shape. Although I still may wait to start exercising until I get rid of this cough and bronchitis that I am suffering from (because I think I have bronchitis). But hey what a great time to start eating healthier (when your sick). I didn't take a picture of it but I made a pretty yummy smoothie this morning, consisting of orange juice, a banana, some strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, greek vanilla yogart and about 10 leafs of spinach. It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself.
I think I may be making smoothies daily, for me and the kiddos (especially if I can add veggies to it and they can't taste it) Kara really liked it! for some reason though she thought it was chocolate milk (and there was no milk in it haha). We got your baby can read for the little girlies for Christmas and I have been trying to get them to watch. Carly of course hasn't really been watching but Kara has :) I am also planning on getting more into teaching Brooke and Kara, I have slacked a bit because Brooke has been going to school but its time to get started again.
But I must go and rest now...
Have an Oh So Wonderful Day!!

I'm excited what can I say

Sorry folks I hate to say this but I have no more ideas for my book! So chapters 9 & 10 are put on hold for now... Sorry :(

On another note though. I've admitted probably a hundred times here that I am a lazy mom, I admit it I'm not proud of it (I know it may seem like I am because I say it so much but I'm not). I'm not so lazy to the point were I neglect my kids so don't get the wrong idea about that. I take care of my kids they are my life but other then that I am extremely lazy. Especially when it comes to house work, I've been able to get away with it for a while because my mom is a clean freak and will clean up. I do help out but a lot of times I don't help out enough (at least in my eyes its not enough).
But as far as being a lazy mom goes I've got some motivation. The prospect of possibly finding our forever house! You know what a forever house is don't you? Its that house that you can see spending the rest of your life in!

I don't want to get into the details to much (since that would be letting you in way to much) but we found out that my grandma's neighbor is thinking about putting his house on the market so if we can get the owner to agree with our offer we could have our forever house! Its just a matter of speaking with the owner and seeing if he will go for it. I am so praying he does! So that is my motivation, I have been cleaning more and trying to straighten up, I even cooked a meal I have never cooked before last night because well think about it if we end up moving I have to make sure that I clean and cook all the time again. I've been slacking because my mommy has been taking care of everything, well except cooking we all do that in the house. But if we move I will have to do all if not most of the cooking (since David may cook a meal or two). I am just so excited, which I shouldn't be because I am getting my hopes up and will probably be disappointment in the end. But until we know what is for sure going to happen I am excited and motivated! But I am still exhausted and tired! So I think I will need to start going to bed earlier. Maybe if this happens I will not only have the motivation to stop being so lazy but to exercise and other such things that I want for myself but just don't have the motivation or energy for. I know its a matter of pushing yourself to do things but I just don't have the energy to push myself most of the time. I can't wait to see if we've got some good news in our future :) We'll see....Have a Great Day!

What is the world coming to?

As most of you readers know, (if you read my first blog) We live with my parents, and the reason for us living with my parents is one because we wanted to either sell or rent out our house we needed more room for us and our family, and obviously now more then ever since #4 is on the way. Our Renters screwed everything up and could not pay rent on time so of course the mortgage didn't get paid and the foreclosure process started. We didn't care we hated that house! Our children were constantly sick when we lived there and it was small and just a huge aggravation in our life and our marriage. So we didn't care if we lost the house. The neighborhood was going down hill... Our neighbors were all a pain. Just around the block there were two drug houses (thankfully one ended up moving) and the house across the street constantly had kids over there that like to cause problems for the neighbors (like vandalizing cars). We had attempted break-ins to our house through out the 5 years we lived there, but thankfully they were always scared away by our dog (who is very protective of his home). After we moved out we continued to go and check on the house from time to time (since its still in our name) and every time we went there it seemed like the neighborhood got worse and worse....

And it finally got that bad..... Click here you can see that a young man was shot to death, The part that scares me and gives me relieve at the same time is that this house was 2 blocks from our house, we use to walk by this house during our walks. I am so relieved that we no longer live in that neighborhood, even if it meant ruining our credit for a few years, to me especially after this it is well worth it.

Why does it seem like people are becoming more and more Violante? I worry about my childrens future with the way people are now a days. It scares me so much the way people are. It seems like more and more all you hear about is children being kidnapped, raped and murdered, people are being murdered all the time. What is with all this violence? Do these people need a hug or something is this why they have issues? I just don't understand it! It scares me and hurts my heart the way people are anymore. Sorry to make this post so sad but it makes me sad to see so much violance I don't want my kids exposed to this!

Have a Great Day!
